POH Mission
The mission of Power of Hope is to unleash the positive potential of youth through arts-centered intergenerational and multicultural learning programs that value self-awareness, leadership, community and social change.

At Power of Hope camps, youth experience eight days of workshops led by professional facilitators, in a variety of artistic disciplines.
We are seeking a high energy, competent Camp Manager to serve our youth in a fast paced environment. The Camp Manager position oversees the operations of Power of Hope's one-of-a-kind summer camps in which teens learn to express themselves through a range of creative workshops on subjects such as: visual arts, dance, theater, writing, media literacy, nature education, social justice and much more!

Requirements:
Min. 2 years experience managing staff and volunteers
Practice developing/managing programs for diverse youth (Summer camp exp. preferred)
First Aid/AED/CPR Certified
Preferred Life Guard Certification
Resume w/ 2x reference

Responsibilities:
Coordinate staff and volunteers before and during camp

Co-coordinate the camp program flow with the Lead Facilitators

Manage camp supplies (Inventory, Transportation, Usage during camp)

Serve as point person for all Emergencies

Serve as Parent Liaison


Location: Camp Niwana, Port Orchard Washington


Compensation: DOE

Contract Type: Seasonal (Summer Position)


Amenities:

1) Camp Manager will be provided room and board for the duration of their stay at camp plus compensation.
