Community Day Camp Teen Leadership Counselor - guide teens in the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program in learning leadership and skills for working with younger children. Implement a challenging and fun training. Previous camp counseling and leadership experience with teens is necessary. Must provide your own transportation to and from site locations, there will be a new site location each week. Work locations may include: Carkeek Park, Woodland Park, Blyth Park, Lake Sammamish State Park Hans Jensen Youth area, Renton Lions Youth camp, Camp Niwana (Port Orchard), Tall Timbers (Auburn/Federal Way), and Camp Sealth (Vashon Island).
Training is included, June 20 - 29, at Camp Sealth.
A minimum age 20 is preferred. $400/ week Start date June 20, 2012 -- Aug 18, 2012.
Requirements:
CPR / First Aid certified (must have current certificates by start date)
Pass Background Check
Camp staff must be caring, compassionate, and enjoy working with kids.
