We are looking for a mature, enthusiastic, dedicated, Christian to work with the youth of our small, growing (Lutheran) congregation.
The specific expectations for the position are:
Plan and oversee weekly youth activities for youth in grades 4-12, leading them to know Christ personally and disciplining them in their walk with Christ.
Work with the Christian Education Committee and Pastor to develop and implement a ministry for school-age children.
Help to develop strategy for fulfilling the church's purpose and vision.
Maintain good communication with parents of youth and the whole congregation.
Maintain youth resources and equipment and facilities as needed with support from the church Youth Team.
Cultivate personal relationships with all youth at our church.
Attend district and national youth events as schedule permits.
