If this sounds like you we would like you to consider our opportunity for Case Manager for the Bridge program. We have a full-time position available at our Spruce Street location.
Pioneer Human Services (PHS) is a nationally recognized statewide non-profit organization with over 50 locations providing an integrated array of services to include employment and training, chemical dependency treatment, mental health counseling and corrections service.
This position is responsible for providing needed feedback and support to clients and families, maintaining complete and accurate documentation of all activities on a professional and self-directed basis and to work toward coordinating services with case managers, outreach professionals, caseworkers and foster parents in the community. The Bridge Case Manager must be able to provide family mediation within 24 hours of when a youth is enrolled into the Bridges Program and to reduce barriers with DSHS Case Workers, SCRC staff, and community partners to provide resources and information to help the youth get back on track.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree with curriculum specifically related to Case Management.
• Two (2) year experience with the same or similar population being served
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Additional Requirements: Must be Agency Affiliated, Certified advisor or achieve status of Certified Counselor within three months.
Conditions of Employment
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Successful completion of pre-service training as required by contracting agency. Training includes Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity, Containment and de-escalation, First Aid, CPR, HIV, Blood Borne Pathogens, Current TB test, negative UA, and obtaining a Food Handler's permit.
• Containment training is required every 12 months.
• Staffing schedules involve varied hours and an occasional weekend shifts.
• Driving record must be acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
• Must be registered as a counselor with the State of Washington Department of Licensing (or willing to become certified).
• Must pass a criminal history background clearance as required by the DSHS.
• Must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of computer proficiency in the use of Microsoft E-mail and Word at the time of hire or following training upon hire
• May be required to assume responsibilities or duties within the Unit not specifically delineated in this job description for short periods of time or on an infrequent basis.

Compensation
The compensation for this Non-Exempt opportunity is $13.50 -- 19.22 per hour with excellent benefits!
