Position

Raise funds and awareness for The Moyer Foundation (TMF) on primarily (but not limited to) the west coast. Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with new and existing individual donors, foundations and corporations. Oversee partner event fundraising efforts across the country, including targeted campaigns and activities. Assist with securing sponsors for a variety of signature events for the TMF held on the east and west coasts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify potential funding sources – private, public and foundations for individual gifts, sponsorships or grant opportunities for CampErinand CampMariposa
  • Develop and cultivate ongoing relationships with individual donors
  • Assist with planning and management of cultivation events nationwide
  • Support and grow partner event fundraising efforts across the country with auction items, logistics and partner event forms
  • Works with Director of Development & Communications and Assistant Executive Director on committee development, audience development and sponsorships for TMF signature events
  • Supervise part-time Events Coordinator
Qualifications

  • Prior development and donor cultivation experience of 5 or more years
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and track several projects at once
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent organizational, managerial and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong computer skills
  • BA required
