Operations Manager - Eastside Pathways (Bellevue)

Eastside Pathways Operations Manager

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

PURPOSE:
As the initial staff of this emerging organization, the Operations Manager will help create and implement the Eastside Pathways structures and systems to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of stakeholders and fulfill its mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science, 3-5 years relevant work experience
Strong communications skills, written and oral. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to manage volunteers and partnerships. Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail. Ability to operate without direct supervision. Mastery of Microsoft Office and familiarity with common online and social networking applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Partner Network and Goal Groups:
Serve as primary point of contact for Eastside Pathways partner organizations. Define and manage partnership agreements, including mutually agreed upon goals and accountability.

Assist volunteer facilitators in organizing and executing project work. Ensure communication and coordination across all projects and initiatives.

Organize all components of Partner and community meetings and connections.

Manage Partner involvement in achieving the goals of the organization and its initiatives, such as the Grade Level Reading Challenge.

Organizational Development:
Develop and maintain organizational deliverables including base-line indicators, extended stakeholder support, and strong staffing, communications, and implementation plans.

Coordinate and communicate the master schedule for the organization.

Engage, deploy and support volunteers to ensure that the goals of the organization are met.

Manage day-to-day activities of the organization, including accounting and banking transactions.

Evaluate and oversee the organization’s technology needs.

Assist the Executive Director in creating well documented policies, procedures and administrative systems following best practices for a nonprofit business.

Communications:
Develop marketing vehicles and initiatives to communicate Eastside Pathway’s goals and programs to the greater community including through online and traditional media and through partners.

Maintain all organization communications, building the framework, including the website, newsletter, social media, etc.

Create and implement communication efforts around key initiatives and campaigns.

NOTE: Because of the nature of this emerging organization and this position, the list above is designed to be an initial concept for the position and other duties and project may be assigned as the need arises.

As described, the position is expected to require approximately 30 hours/week. The individual will work from his/her home and provide his/her own computer, phone line, internet connectivity and other equipment.

Total compensation will range from $40,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
