Local Government Agency is currently accepting applications for one Project Specialist to undertake
Lead responsibilities over and provide back up and technical assistance to lower level
professional and technical staff for a Youth program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Project Specialist classification is an advanced professional and technical level position that performs a variety of assignments and technical responsibilities that require advanced skills in overseeing, developing, planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the daily operation of specialized program activities. This position may assist in planning and implementing program policy and planning or in leading lower level classifications in the performance of assigned work. The work is performed under the direction of a Workforce Development Manager or other higher level manager and involves considerable latitude of independent judgment, objectivity and action that requires the use of discretion, patience, technical program knowledge, and diplomacy.
Job Requirements:
Your resume must reflect the following job requirements in order to receive a referral for this position:
* A Bachelors degree in Education, Human Services, Business or allied field from an accredited College or University
* Four years of professional experience related to the position or any equivalent combination of professional experience and education (one year of professional experience related to the position equaling one year of education) related to the position
* Must possess a valid driver's license
* Ability to multi-task in a busy environment; excellent organizational skills
* Possess a strong attention to detail
* Ability to problem solve, be a team player and exercise good judgment
* Advanced computer and internet literacy; proficiency using Microsoft Office programs
Salary / Wage / Benefits:
$22.22 to $27.01 /hr., DOE/DOQ
