We are looking for an energetic and relate-able adult to work in our Youth Development Center at the Dale Turner Family YMCA during Teen & Tween Drop In. Candidates must be comfortable ACTIVELY ENGAGING with teens, be a mature adult role model & know how to set appropriate and fair boundaries with youth. This is a great entry position into working in the youth development field, especially for college students! Training and potential career growth opportunities available through the YMCA.
Youth Center Attendant would work 2-3 shifts per week (M, W, and possibly Tuesday) from 5-9pm. In addition, there may be opportunity to assist in our Teen Quest Camp for 2 weeks as they travel to Lake Chelan and Silverwood (depends on skill level and interest). In the fall more hours will available through after school programming and Late Night events.
Minimum 20 yrs of age & experience working or volunteering with teens are required in order to be considered. Male candidates and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply although final decision will be based on the most qualified candidate.
