We are Washington State's largest provide provider of Evidence Based Programs for children and families involved with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Founded in 1982, the Institute's mission is to develop, deliver and disseminate evidence based child welfare programs to keep children safe, strengthen families and reduce the need for placing children into state-funded care. We currently have an opening for a full-time Functional Family Therapist in King County to serve families referred by the King County Juvenile Court.

Functional Family Therapy (www.fftinc.com) is a nationally recognized, evidence-based program for at-risk youth ages 10 to 18 and their families. FFT Therapists provide weekly home-based family therapy sessions over a 3 to 4 month period utilizing the Functional Family Therapy model. A full-time therapist carries a caseload of 10 to 12 families at any given time, with most client appointments occurring in the afternoon and evening hours.

We offer a supportive team environment, excellent supervision, and comprehensive training. The person filling this FFT therapist position must be available to attend FFT training in Denver, Colorado on August 6-8, 2012. Flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends. Starting salary range for Bachelor's level is $27,420 - $32,917 and Master's level is $31,142 - $39,255. DOE. Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, retirement, 20 days vacation, 12 days sick leave, 11 holidays a year, and mileage compensation.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human services field and two years of relevant experience; MSW or MA preferred. Active Washington State DOH counseling credential. Valid driver's license and vehicle in good working condition. Must live in King County.
