Job Title: INDIVIDUAL GIVING COORDINATOR
Department: DEVELOPMENT
Position Summary:
The Individual Giving Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s ongoing fund development efforts through donor information management. Program elements include annual giving, online giving, annual appeals, Team Korey, workplace giving, prospective donor research, donor stewardship, cultivation events, and donor acquisition. The Individual Giving Coordinator will provide high level support for the entire Fund Development Team in the area of annual giving and Team Korey.
Reports to: Executive Director
Duties and Underlying Tasks:
- Support Fund Development plan for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and managing individual who can provide either financial support or potential volunteer support.
- Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and current donors.
- Keep clear and complete records of all solicitation and contacts utilizing the Fund Development database, Raiser’s Edge.
- Support the cultivation process for individual donors through appropriate stewardship and acknowledgment.
- Support development of short-term goals and long-range strategic plan for stewarding existing donors and growing individual giving.
- Work collaboratively with Development Team to create and implement yearly annual Fund and stewardship plans.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications Coordinator to develop and manage online giving component.
- Work closely with the Strategic Development Manager on workplace giving.
- Work collaboratively with Event Manager to establish strategies and targets for Team Korey fundraising efforts.
- Develop and implement evaluation/analysis and reporting systems.
- Work closely with Marketing Coordinator and appropriate team members on all donor communications and solicitations.
- Organize ongoing efforts in prospect research, stewardship and cultivation of individual donors.
- Work closely with Executive Director on Major Donor cultivation and stewardship.
- Plan and execute cultivation events as appropriate.
- Provide support for Camp’s fund development events.
- Attend and participate in Development Team Meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in fund development; experience with Annual Giving, demonstrable personal solicitation success preferred
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge, Sphere, Friends Asking Friends, and Maestrosoft software.
- Website development/management and social media
Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.

- Participate in Camp Korey activities as needed.
- Proficient in word, excel, outlook, and working with a fund development database (Raiser’s Edge preferred)
- Stay on top of current professional trends in the industry.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass background check
- Receive appropriate vaccinations
- 60% in environmentally controlled office.
- 10% in travel and off-site meetings and presentations.
- 30% in on-site coordination of facilities projects.
- Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Time standing and sitting based on job requirements.
