We currently have an opening for a Interpretative Programs Coordinator. The Interpretative Programs Coordinator is responsible for the development and supervision of all live theater, living history, weekend family programs and Airpark and Airpark education programs at The Museum of Flight. The primary role of the Interpretative Programs Coordinator is to design and implement high quality and innovative interpretative programs for museum visitors and school groups. The Interpretative Programs Coordinator will support the development of live theater programs by being an active participant in the productions -- as needed. The Interpretative Programs Coordinator is the primary lead instructor for the Museum Apprentice Program.
Supervising, training, and evaluation of Museum Educators, volunteers and docents and youth involved in storytelling programs is a key responsibility for this position. Other responsibilities include budget development and tracking of expenditures, prop and costume maintenance and purchasing and maintaining supplies for Airpark, Family Programs and Living History programs.
