International Adoption Program Manager
Description
WACAP (World Association for children and Parents), a
leading non-profit international adoption agency located in Renton, WA seeks a
part time International Adoption Program Manager for 29 hrs/wk. The successful applicant shall believe in and
promote adoption as a positive means of creating families; will ensure that the
best interests of the child and highest ethics in the adoption process prevail
in all situations; have experience in working with foreign cultures; and will
actively work to build strong relationships with families and local, state,
federal and international agencies for the purpose of placing orphaned and
abandoned children for adoption. This person will be flexible, detail-oriented,
and have outstanding phone, clerical and organizational skills. Must be able to
work individually as well as part of a team and maintain in-depth knowledge of
WACAP’s programs, policies and practices, with a high regard for our
mission. Requirements are a B.A. in
social work or a related field and proficient in Microsoft Office and Access.
