Communities In Schools Kent School District SITE COORDINATOR
Position Title: Site Coordinator
Start Date: August 30, 2012

Reports to Executive Director of Communities In Schools and the Kent School District. Salaried fulltime position with benefits. 9 month work period.
Functions: The Site Coordinator manages activities that guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for academic, intellectual, and social-emotional growth and maturation. The Site Coordinator also assists with access to real life opportunities necessary for high school completion and post-high school achievement.
Essential Job duties
• Works in the school directly with students to determine the needs of students and to assist them through working with community agencies to meet those needs, including case management, food bank donations, clothing bank and winter clothes donations, holiday gifts, bus passes, etc
• Coordinates college and career fairs, workshops, special classes, guest speakers, field trips, and other extracurricular activities for students.
• Maintains accurate records and data collection regarding all services, including student needs assessments, referrals, follow-ups, and all required documentation records.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required,
Experience working with a non-profit, educational organization or youth development organization is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Bi-lingual
Experience or familiarity with the greater Kent and Covington community.
Experience or familiarity with CIS.
