Childcare Provider
Part time - 28 hours a week
Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is a forty year old Non-Profit Agency.
We have an immediate opening for a Childcare Provider in our Bellevue location.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Implements childcare services for individual branch and coordinates parenting services, resources and referrals for alcohol/drug services. Also performs work-related duties as required.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
1. Maintain an attractive, clean and safe environment while providing care for children in the childcare facility in accordance with the provisions of WAC requirements pertinent to Chemical Dependency Treatment Centers.
2. Create and lead activities based on individual needs of the children in attendance.
3. Maintain current records.
4. Set up and regularly assist parents in need of resources such as food, housing and medical care.
5. Supervise Summer Youth workers and provide direction to childcare staff.
6. Maintain childcare requirements per King County Contract.
7. Perform intake interviews/assessments as needed.
8. Perform crisis intervention.
