Atlantic Street Center has been serving the Seattle area for more than 100 years utilizing family-centered, community-based models. We currently have a full-time position open on our Counseling team for a creative, dynamic mental health therapist who wants to work with children and their families. We work in a highly collegial setting and pride ourselves on reducing the barriers to treatment and providing delivering effective services. Our therapists are active in the communities we serve, providing services in schools, homes and other community settings while also working collaboratively with the systems and individuals that impact the lives of our participants. Qualified candidates will have the following:
• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field,
• Have or obtain a Washington state counselor registration, certification, or license.
• Have a valid Washington State Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.
• Training and/or experience in working with a diverse client base
• Experience/training in providing therapy to children and their families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• An on-going interest in developing and expanding one's clinical skills
• The potential to work at least one evening, dependent upon client need
