Donor Relationship Coordinator

Description


Responsible for managing the organizations gift stewardship and donor databases to include all donor data entry, donor records maintenance and other related donor duties.

Principle duties:
  • Manage and/or perform the entry of all donor data into the Raiser’s Edge software system.
  • Responsible for all gift acknowledgement and mailings to donors, matching gifts, general donations, in memory of, in honor of, year end mailings and related donor activities.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of donor data information entered into Raiser’s Edge.
  • Process and update appropriate changes in donor database.
  • Research and work with outside telemarketing and direct mail partners to make sure all records are correct and manage any necessary changes in donor database.
  • Research and manage all employer matching gifts.
  • Prepare development and donor reports and correspondence as requested.
  • Research/provide support to staff for identification, cultivation, solicitation of donor information.
  • Design and manage all online fundraising events using Kintera system
  • Responsible for managing and posting pending donations, matching gifts, and offline donations to personal fundraising sites using Kintera system
  • Provide technical support to participants and donors for all online events
  • Perform monthly and quarterly data transfers with outside marketing systems
  • Prepare and manage invoices for sponsorships and pledges
  • Prepare mailing lists and update RE records with revised address information from mailing houses
  • Assist in the support of regional offices on donor stewardship and database projects.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Raisers Edge or proficient in other related database programs a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kintera, Sphere, or proficient in other related online fundraising programs a plus
  • Attention to detail, especially demonstrated excellence in typing and grammar.
  • Computer experience and/or training in word processing, minimal accounting, spreadsheets, database management, and communications software.
  • Good organizational, clerical and presentation skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communicator with good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability of researching and prospecting new revenue sources.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Manage flexible schedule possibly involving some weekend and evening hours.
  • Professional appearance required.
  • Regular attendance required.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a full time, exempt position, with benefits: medical, vision, dental, disability insurance, and 403(b) retirement plan; vacation and sick leave based on qualifying dates. Bus pass included.
