Auburn Youth Resources is hiring a F/T and a P/T Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP Required!)
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CDP will provide counseling and case management services to patients with chemical addiction; consisting of individual, group, family and educational services; assessment, individualized treatment plans, and aftercare services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Facilitate Level 1 outpatient treatment groups, as assigned.
2. Facilitate substance abuse evaluations/assessments.
3. Facilitate Individual and Family sessions.
4. Develop and revise curriculum, as assigned.
5. Maintain all necessary paperwork required for department, agency or contract purposes.
6. Attend all meetings required for agency or contract needs.
7. Develop and maintain referral relationships between AYR and other services providers/youth care professionals.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
1. Attend all supervision sessions as scheduled.
2. Provide consultation and information/resources, support and assistance with substance abuse issues to agency staff and community members as needed.
3. Complete all stats and reports as required by department, agency and contracts.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. WAC approved documentation of experience required (2000 hours).
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. BA/BS in social service field recommended.
2. Continued professional education per current WACs required.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE:
1. WAC approved documentation of CDP.
2. Documentation of TB test (30 days prior or 30 days after hiring) per WAC requirements.
3. Current Washington State Driver's License and proof of current auto insurance.
4. Blood Borne Pathogens training must be obtained upon hire and maintained each calendar year.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Requires working at various program sites.
2. Occasional same day out of town travel is required for meetings using personal vehicle.

- Compensation: $15.50 - $18.00 per/hr DOE/DOQ with Excellent Benefits Package!
