Program Information Specialist (Redmond)

Friends of Youth is a not for profit organization committed to the support of youth and young adults in our community. With 60 years of experience, 20 program sites, and national accreditation, we provide safe places and emotional support for youth and families in challenging circumstances. Our services include:

-Residential Services, providing therapeutic residential services, including foster care, to youth under 18;
-Homeless Support Services, providing outreach, overnight shelter, case management, employment and housing for homeless youth and young adults in East King County
-Youth and Family Services, providing counseling, substance abuse treatment, prevention and parenting programs in East King County.

Friends of Youth is currently seeking a Program Information Specialist at our Redmond Office.

Description :

The Program Information Specialist performs various tasks, including but not limited to: oversight and reporting of client demographic and outcome data to multiple sources such as grant writers, funders and other agency stakeholders; collecting and analyzing data from multiple programs; coordinating agency-wide performance and quality improvement process; and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience
Training and experience in data oversight and reporting.
Experience in quality improvement, performance measurement, and/or program evaluation.
A bachelor's degree in related field.
Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles on Friends of Youth business must have a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth
Education or experience in cultural competency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Software proficient (MS Office: Word, Outlook); advanced knowledge of Excel, including advanced formula skills, filtering, sorting, and combining of tables; knowledge of Salesforce, SharePoint 2010 preferred.
Proficient in data collection and reporting techniques; be detail oriented, and have strong organizational skills.
Be skilled in accurate and time-sensitive data entry; be able to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines.
Have basic math (arithmetic and algebra) skills.
Have above average typing skills (including 10-key).
Effective oral, interpersonal and above average written reporting and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications; have a quick learning aptitude with strong problem solving skills.
Knowledge of King County Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) preferred.
Must demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences and a commitment to the values of cultural competency.
Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Hours:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
