CDP/CDPT - Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist (Everett, Wa)

Catholic Community Services is looking to hire a CDP/CDPT-Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist to work in our Chemical Dependency Program in Snohomish Co. This position is up to 37.5 hours per week; pay is $16.79-$17.38 pr hr DOE for a Trainee and $19.31 pr hr for a CDP, plus a generous benefit pkg. Required: MA Degree in Psychology/related field and exp. working in a CDP/CDPT position in a licensed chemical dependency treatment agency. CDP Certification or CDP Trainee Certification with WA DOH required, plus proficient computer skills. All applicants must meet the minimum qualification in order to be considered for the position. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Incumbent provides chemical dependency treatment to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and maintains program standards.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Clinical Responsibilities:

Manage adult treatment caseload, providing individual treatment and facilitate group treatment as assigned.

Provide assessment, and admits into COD treatment program.

Provide case consultation services to mental health clinicians working in community as needed.

Case Management Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.

Utilize community based resources to support adult client's treatment process by referring clients to mental health case manager, crisis intervention, vocational specialists, education programs, recreation resources, and couples and/or family therapy, etc.

Coordinate case management services for clients within assigned program.

Attend weekly staffing of client's on caseload.

Provide treatment reports and consultation to referring agencies, probation, CPS, Family Treatment Court, Adult Drug Court, Physicians, and other referral sources as needed.


File/Program Maintenance Responsibilities:

Maintain files in accordance with CCS, WAC, County, and State requirements.

Provide support, delegate, and coordinate appropriate work with treatment aides and interns as needed.

Meet with Regional Manager on a regular basis to review caseload and clinical decisions.



Other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:


MINIMUM:

Chemical Dependency Professional OR CDP Trainee Certification with the WA State Department of Health under Chapter 18.19 RCW.

Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.

Experience working in a CDP/CDPT position with adult/Youth clients in a licensed chemical dependency treatment agency.


PREFERRED:

Washington State Chemical Dependency Professional Certification (CDP)

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or qualified to become LMHC.

Experience working with mental health clients.
