JOB DESCRIPTION
A Non-Profit Agency is hiring a Manager of Service Delivery- Youth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for program research, planning, coordination and implementation of youth activities in Snohomish County for the WDCSC.
- Annually develops strategic and operational plans for youth oriented programs in concert with WDCSC staff, area stakeholders and Board members as well as the strategic initiatives unit of the WDCSC.
- Provide program oversight including adherence to grant intent, resource, program and staff development, community involvement and coordination with sites and other interested agencies and individuals.
- Provide staff support to Youth Council.
- Oversees youth programs for the WDCSC, which may include:
- In School Youth Workforce Investment Act
- Out of School Youth Workforce Investment Act
- Other grant funded youth programs and activities
-Provide technical support for programs including writing program guidelines, holding public policy meetings and developing or revising policy. Advise sub-recipients on policy concerns and track compliance.
-Track contractor performance and present results monthly.
-Assist with Request for Proposal processes and other procurement activities.
-Represent WDCSC to program provider and vendor oversight groups and in the community on related committees.
-Represent WDCSC to outside funders including submitting performance reports and coordinating requests for modifications.
-Negotiate contracts with providers and complete contracts.
-Oversight and monitoring of program and grant performance, outcomes and related subjects. Request and track corrective action plans from program providers and vendors.
-Coordinate training for WIA funded contractor staff.
-Perform related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree and two years experience or equivalent work experience totaling a minimum of six years.
- At least three years' experience with youth (ages 14-24) programs.
-Background in Business Administration, Public Administration or Policy, Communications, Social Services, Education or related field.
-Direct experience with WIA programs.
-Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
-Strong writing skills.
-Knowledge of a client management tracking system such as SKIES.
-Able to communicate effectively and facilitate large group meetings.
-Ability to lead in a collaborative environment.
-Ability to work independently. High attention to detail.
-Ability to establish community networks.
-Strong public speaking skills.
-Frequently sits for extended periods while performing desktop activities.
-Repetitively uses hands and wrists on computers and telephone.
-Reliable transportation and the ability to drive to different locations.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday -- Friday
WAGE / BENEFITS:
- $26.44 to $28.85 per hour Benefits: Medical, dental, 401k, vacation, plus others to be discussed
