REPORTS TO: Transitional Housing Program Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent for this position is responsible for providing case management services and case coordination for youth in the Transitional Housing Program. This person must have or be willing to develop working knowledge of homeless issues, oppression, client advocacy, community resource, drug and alcohol issues, and human development. The work schedule may require some evening and weekend hours. This is a non-exempt position. This position is part-time non-exempt and eligible for prorated benefits. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Life.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The incumbent for this position must posess: A Master's Degree in Psychology or Social work or closely related field and two years' experience working in case management, OR Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social work or closely related field and four years' experience working with youth. NOTE: Experience must include experience with high risk populations involved with juvenile justice /Dept. of Corrections and/or CPS/Family Court. Additional experience required in community networking, case coordination for multi -isciplinary teams, providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth, and demonstrated organizational skills. The incumbent should have experience or knowledge of homeless issues, participant advocacy, community resources, and other high-risk populations, and must be sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences in the organization's service population. Proof of personal auto insurance levels at or above a $100,000, combined single limit must be provided once offer of employment is accepted.. (EOE)
