$10.56-13.00 DOQ
Primary Duties
Provide direction for the program and staff. May create staff schedules and provide department administrative support as needed. Create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
• Supervise the participants and all activities.
• Maintain effective relationships with participants, members, parents, and staff.
• Design and implement activity/lesson plans.
• Provide department administrative support, maintain required program records.
• Maintain program site and equipment.
• Attend all staff meetings and training as required.
Qualifications
• Minimum age of 21.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to plan, organize and implement appropriate program activities
• Previous experience with diverse populations.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive a 15 passenger mini-bus.
• At least 2 years of college or have a interest in law and civic engagement.
Physical Demands:
Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise program activities. Ability to lead and participate in a range of activities in a variety of outdoor/indoor settings.
