Independent Horizons is a new residential home for motivated youth who have aged out of foster homes and who still need support to get on their feet as adults.
Independent Horizons is seeking motivated staff to actively support youth living in a home-like atmosphere and guiding youth in an extensive Independent Living Skills program. Staff must support these youth and motivate them to successfully accomplish:
- High School Diploma or GED program,
- Occupational training,
- College,
- Seeking employment at least part time
Staff will provide shifts or 24 hour supervision with strong emphasis on Independent Living Skills and will explore creative ways to empower young adults to propel their lives into successful adulthood. Staff must also provide case management for assigned young adults and assist with medical and therapeutic goals. Serious inquiries only, you must be able to pass a state background check, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, TB test, Bloodborne Pathogens Training is required for this position. Other training is necessary for this position and is provided by our agency for qualified individuals.
