We need loving Foster Parents! - Friends of Youth (King County)

We need loving Foster Parents! (King County)

We need loving Foster Parents!

Friends of Youth serves Therapeutic Foster Youth throughout King and south Snohomish Counties. If you have a desire to parent or work with youth, consider what you offer those who have had a rough start to life. Our program is top notch, we fully support our foster families with training, counseling, a master's level case manager and experienced case aides.

Friends of Youth also serves Immigrant and Refugee children and we are needing bilingual folks to consider these kids. Spanish and Chinese speakers are particularly in need.

Already a foster parent but longing for more support? Friends of Youth has the reputation for taking unbelievable care of our foster families -- and we want you to join us!

To be a foster parent you can be single, married, partnered . . . live in a house, apartment, or condo. The basic requirements for foster care include requiring a spare bedroom for the foster child, some income apart from foster care, and patience. A flexible work schedule is also helpful. Please inquire about the possibilities.

Why Friends of Youth? We have 60 years of strong community work, a full range of innovative programs, and the desire to support and encourage our foster parents. Just as these kids deserve a good home, we understand foster parenting asks for dedication. If you license with Friends of Youth you will have full training, a teamwork approach, and an environment geared toward success.
