Mission: SANCA is dedicated to improving the mental and physical health of children of all ages and abilities by engaging them in the joyous creativity of acrobatics and circus arts. SANCA provides quality instruction in unique physical arts in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment that provides both challenge and reward to the student.
SANCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving students from all economic backgrounds by providing tuition scholarships. Reporting to the board of directors, the Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer providing overall strategic and operational responsibility for SANCA's staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission, vision and goals. The ED oversees a $1M budget and manages a staff of 35 including three direct reports.
Ideally, the ED will have:
• A minimum of five years of executive leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of success in a non-profit/human services organization
• Entrepreneurial strategic thinking
• Innovation in the areas of program, partnership, & fundraising development
• A familiarity with physical education, performance, or physical arts education
• Experience working with underserved-populations & at-risk youth
• Strong fiscal management & budgetary leadership with budgets in excess of $750,000
Bachelor's degree is required. A Masters degree is preferred. Consideration will be given to any combination of education, experience and measurable performance that demonstrates a proven ability to perform the necessary duties of this position.
