POSITION: Van Driver/Youth Development Assistant
CLUB LOCATION: Edmonds Boys & Girls Club
COMPENSATION: $9.04-$10.00/hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Part Time
TIMES/DAYS: 10:00am-4:00pm M-F
Hours may change on half days, non-school days, and school breaks.
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES: The Program Assistant will help in implementation of the childcare program in accordance with policies, procedures, and philosophy of the Edmonds Boys & Girls Club. Job functions include: Assist with planning and implementing age appropriate activities, transporting children to and from school, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, ability to work with ages 5-12 years, contribute to the creation of the overall club climate for youth development, provide behavioral guidance services to Club members, general cleaning, and other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 23 years or older. Experience working with children in a group setting preferred. A current Washington state driver's license is a must. Clean driving record. Licensed Child Care experience is a plus.
