Description:
Our school-age care programs provide a fun, creative, safe, and welcoming environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
We are looking for individuals to work in our before and after school programs.
Our Childcare Counselors:
*Organize and lead programs and activities such as: arts and crafts, organized games, cultural activities, drama, music, story hour, sports, field trips and other special projects and events.
*Work with other staff to ensure the care and safety of participants at all times.
*Must be willing to complete training for certification in First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers Permit, HIV/AIDS blood-borne pathogens education.
Requirements:
*Eighteen years of age or older
*High School diploma or equivalent
*Experience working with 5 to 12 year olds
*Clear TB test and background check before start of work.
Shifts- 7-9:15am and 3-6:15
Possible 5-30 hours a week- more during school breaks, Also have flexible subsitute positions
