We are looking for US Veterans preferably 35 years old and younger to work with the Global Peace Youth Corps to organize projects and programs that engage US Veterans in programs that help mentor youth in the Seattle area. Job starts as a non-paid internship with the possibility of becoming a paid job after a two-month period.
We are looking for interns that are:
- Passionate in creating and coordinating meaningful projects and programs that impact people's lives in a positive way.
- Believe that US Veterans are a tremendous resource in the community, as they are patriots that know what it means to make sacrifices for the greater cause of maintaining peace.
- Have good people skills and enjoy human interaction.
- Resonate with the vision of GPYC, which is that all humanity should be seen as "One family under God".
- Location: Edmonds
- Compensation: Begins as internship for 2 months. $10/hour if hired. 20 hours a week.
